Why protect your car in winter?

Because winter puts more corrosive material on your car, more often, than any other season, and gives you fewer dry days to wash it off. A protective layer means salt and dirt stick less, and the car is quicker and safer to clean. It does not make a car immune to winter; it changes how dirt behaves on the surface, so you are not relying on scrubbing.

Road salt and grit: paint, wheels and the underside

Through winter, the main routes around Chesterfield and Glapwell are gritted. That is right for safety, but it means salt and grit are thrown up by every car in front of you.

Winter Protection is not mobile. Decontamination, polishing and ceramic coating need a clean, controlled space for the coating to cure properly, which a driveway cannot provide. That is why Winter Protection, paint correction, polishing and ceramic coating are all done at the Glapwell unit only.
