Interior car valet guide: what I clean and what to prepare

I am Joshua of Washy Luxe. This guide covers what an interior clean actually includes, what to prepare before I arrive, and when a cabin needs more than a standard deep clean. For the full visit flow, see what happens on a mobile valet visit.

What an interior deep clean covers

From £120: full vacuuming, plus cleaning of carpets, seats, plastics and surfaces. It is aimed at everyday dirt — crumbs, dog hair, winter grit and sticky plastics — not a wipe of the dash.

Full valet vs interior only

• Interior Deep Clean, from £120: cabin only.
• Full Valet, from £140: interior plus Exterior Safe Wash & Protect.
• Extreme dirt or mould: quoted separately. Mould removal is from £310.

Guide prices depend on the car and how dirty it is.

What to do before I arrive

• Take out personal items, charging cables and rubbish.
• Tell me about gate codes, parked vans or tight driveways when you book.
• Mention pets, smokers or known mould so I can plan the right job.

When a standard clean is not enough

Farm mud, a car left damp, or mould in the cabin is its own job. I will not fold that into a standard interior price. If the headlining is stained or soft, I quote extras after looking at it.

Mobile, not unit

Interior cleans and full valets come to your address within about 35 miles of Glapwell. Paint correction, polishing, ceramic coating and Winter Protection stay at the Glapwell unit only.

What does an interior deep clean include?

Full vacuuming, plus cleaning of carpets, seats, plastics and surfaces. It is built for school-run crumbs, dog hair and winter grit, not a dash wipe.

How much is an interior clean?

Interior Deep Clean is from £120. A Full Valet, which adds the exterior wash, is from £140. Guide prices; booking or an email gets a firm figure.

Can you remove mould?

Interior mould removal is from £310, using CLO2, steam and time. Extras are quoted if the headlining has gone.

Do I need to empty the car?

Take out personal items and rubbish if you can. It lets me get straight to cleaning.

Is interior work mobile?

Yes. Interiors and full valets can come to your driveway. Paint correction and ceramic coating stay at the Glapwell unit.
